We manage large programmes of charger roll outs across the UK, taking care of everything from site cost evaluations, surveys, design, connection of the grid to all on site installations and civil works. This way you reduce interfaces with multiple contractors.
As grid connections are your biggest unknown cost. We can quickly take hundreds of sites and evaluate their connection viability and costs to inform your investment programme and site phasing.
We have pioneered two new approaches, ‘self-determination’ and ‘self-connection’, to get your grid connection live in the shortest possible time.
- ‘Self-determination’ provides points of connections faster, which means you get cost certainly for your programme sooner. Because we are able to access all the Distribution Network Operators (DNO) cable maps, network diagrams and straight-line diagrams, and use the same engineering standards as the host DNO, we are able to choose our own point of connection to the DNO High Voltage or Low Voltage network, using your criteria as our guide.
- ‘Self-connect’ gives us complete control of the programme. We use our own in-house teams to find the DNO cables, and our own engineers and cable jointers make the connections. All without any DNO involvement.
